Rocking out on my 2024 Can-Am Spyder RT Sea-to-Sky

I got CarPlay working on my 2024 Sea-to-Sky and it's awesome. Only issue is music goes straight to the helmet instead of filling the air. Can you get the speakers to take over or run both for a fuller ride experience?

CarPlay audio usually routes to the helmet if it's paired, and switching to bike speakers might mean disconnecting the headset or tweaking output settings. Try connecting the iPhone via USB only not Bluetooth, which can help CarPlay prioritize the bike's system

Helpful tip about using USB only! I will try that next time I go for a ride. I've been using both connections at the same time. Is there a specific output setting on the bike's screen I should be looking for?

Try selecting the audio output manually on the dash display, some riders found it switches back to helmet by default. Running both at once isn't officially supported from what I know, (correct me if I'm wrong) but pairing only the helmet to the bike (not your phone) and using the USB port for CarPlay might help balance things out.

oh, your Spyder is probably defaulting to the helmet as the primary audio source as soon as it connects.
you might need to temporarily turn off your headset. That'll force the audio back to the speakers.
If you want to keep the headset connected for calls or navigation, you'll have to manually go into the audio menu on the Spyder and switch the output to the speakers. It's a bit of a manual process, but it works

The common suggestion is for me to manually select the speaker output from the bike's audio menu.

I haven't had a chance to get a ride in for a couple of weeks. I'm planning to head out Sunday morning to test all these new methods. Forcing the audio to the speakers through the display menu will be my 1st step. Connecting the helmet only to the bike is something I will try, too.

I will report back with what I find.

@Juiccy_Box'95 Sounds like a good plan. Let us know how it goes after Sunday's ride, especially if switching the helmet connection makes the speakers play properly.
