ACP issues after dealer update audio & screen glitches

I just picked up my Spyder from the dealer after a routine service, and they updated the Apple CarPlay while it was there. Everything seemed to work fine during the first ride, but then I started running into some issues the next day.

The audio keeps switching back and forth between my Cardo headset and the Spyder's speakers, and sometimes it even cuts out completely, even though it shows that music is still playing. I've also noticed the screen freezing a couple of times.

Has anyone else dealt with this after an Apple CarPlay update at the dealer? I'm wondering if this is just a fluke or if it could be part of a bigger issue.

My sister had CarPlay bugs after recent updates, with Bluetooth audio jumping between devices. We tried the most basic one, unpairing and re-pairing the headset first and that worked for her

Ensure your Cardo is paired only to the Spyder (not your phone), and check if Audio Multitasking is disabled in the Cardo app. Some riders also found that deleting the Bluetooth pairing on the Spyder helped stabilize things

I had a similar issue with my screen freezing after an update. Try doing a hard reset on the Spyder's infotainment system. You can usually do this by holding down a combination of buttons for a few seconds.
If that doesn't work, let the Spyder sit with the key off for about 10-15 minutes, which can sometimes clear out any lingering software bugs

@spyderwrenchguy761 I ran into the same thing after an update. A full factory reset fixed the freezes for me, but you'll lose saved settings, so back up anything important first.
