Advice on buying used Spyder

Hello! I've been lurking but thought I'd join this forum now that I'm seriously considering to buy a used Can-Am Spyder. I'm looking at the F3 or RT models, but I'm open to anything that's a good deal.

Forgive me for the many questions but I can really use some advice.. What are the common issues to watch out for, especially on older models? Are there any specific model years or engines that are known to have problems or that are generally best to avoid? I've heard some things about the older 998cc engines running hot. Also, what are the most critical things to check on a used Spyder before buying, like suspension, recalls, or the drive belt? Any tips on what to look for that might not be obvious to a new owner would be a huge help. Thanks for all your help!

Keep an eye out for overheating on the 998cc engines. Also check the drive belts for wear and tear and see if there's any play in the front suspension. It's a good idea to look into the recall history too. Throttle body problems sometimes show up on older models so inspect those as well.
